Let's Make a Plan for Success

Schedule a brief, no-obligation Google Meet call to discuss your student's specific needs. Whether it's a looming AP exam or a struggle with the basics of stoichiometry, I am here to help.

What happens on the call

  • We identify the course, grade level, and the main chemistry challenge.
  • We decide whether one-on-one, group, or exam review support is the right fit.
  • You leave knowing the next step before any payment or commitment.

Scheduling

Sessions are available 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Friday (Eastern Time). After you submit the form, I'll reach out within one business day with available times.

General Information

I specialize in all high school levels, including General Chemistry, Honors, Pre-AP, and AP Chemistry. I also provide targeted prep for college placement exams.

I am proud to offer full instructional support in English, Spanish, French, and Creole. This is particularly helpful for students who understand the math of chemistry but struggle with the specific academic terminology in English.

Experience. With three decades of classroom experience, I don't just "help with homework." I understand the specific pitfalls of the curriculum, I know what AP graders are looking for, and I tailor my pedagogy to how your specific student learns.

Logistics & Technology

I primarily use Google Meet. I utilize an interactive digital whiteboard so students can see me work through equations and draw molecular structures in real-time, just like a classroom chalkboard.

A computer with a stable internet connection and a webcam. A calculator is helpful but not required, since we can use Desmos online. Access to a tablet or stylus is helpful but not required.

New students begin with a free 15-minute consultation. After that, you can book sessions or packages through the TutorBird portal.

Payments & Policies

Payments are handled securely through TutorBird. For individual sessions, payment is due at the time of booking to secure your time slot. Packages are paid in full upfront to trigger the discount.

I require a 24-hour notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Because I reserve a specific block of time for your student, late cancellations are subject to a fee of 50% of the session rate.

Yes! If your student has a friend or two in the same class, I offer small group tutoring (2–3 students) at a rate of $112.50/hr, which can be split among the participants.
