By using this website or booking a tutoring session, you agree to the practices described here. If you are a parent or guardian enrolling a student under 18, this policy applies to information you provide on that student’s behalf.

  • Booking and scheduling: name, email address, student’s grade level and course, preferred session times, and any notes submitted through the TutorBird scheduling widget.
  • Contact inquiries: name, email address, and the content of messages sent through the contact form.
  • Session-related communications: emails exchanged about scheduling, session preparation, or session recap notes.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, time spent on the site, referring URLs, and general browser and device information, collected via Rocket.new analytics.
  • IP address: collected as a standard part of web server logs and analytics.

Information collected by third parties

When you book or sign in through TutorBird, TutorBird collects your account credentials, payment information, and session history directly under their own privacy policy. We receive only the scheduling and session data necessary to deliver tutoring services.

How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule, confirm, and deliver tutoring sessions.
  • To send session recap emails summarizing what was covered, practice recommendations, and next steps.
  • To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form.
  • To process payments through TutorBird.
  • To improve the website and understand how visitors use it.
  • To comply with applicable law or respond to lawful requests from government authorities.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them.

  • TutorBird — scheduling, client portal, and payment processing. TutorBird stores your account credentials, payment methods, session history, and invoices. See TutorBird’s Privacy Policy at tutorbird.com.
  • Google Meet — live video sessions. Google may process audio, video, and screen-share content during sessions under Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts — font delivery. Your browser makes a request to Google servers to load the Lora and DM Sans typefaces, which may log your IP address.
  • Rocket.new Analytics — website usage analytics. Rocket.new collects anonymized data about page visits and interactions on this site.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Students and Minors

Our tutoring services are directed at high school and college students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has submitted personal information without your consent, please contact us at MariePaulChemistry@gmail.com and we will promptly delete that information.

For students between the ages of 13 and 17, we recommend that a parent or guardian review this policy. Enrollment of a minor in our tutoring services constitutes consent by the parent or guardian to the collection and use of information as described here.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Session notes and scheduling records are kept for the duration of the tutoring relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for reference. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us (see below), subject to any legal retention requirements.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
